LuRay Pastels and a Girl's Night

Spring is here! Time to break out the pastels.

I'm hosting a "girl's night" after dinner dessert at my house this weekend.

Its a great excuse to use my vintage Lu-Ray dinnerware.

Now that I know what we'll be eating on.... I need to plan what were actually having!

Suggestions welcome.

Hmmm... You need some colour on those plates. How about cheesecake with either strawberries or cherries somehow involved? Or some vintagey dessert including strawberries such as strawberry shortcake?

Ooooh. Strawberry shortcake. Hadn't thought of that one. Just the right season coming up, too. Thanks, MJ!

I just got my first set of LuRay and I purchased the pink. I made a an old fashioned chocolate cake and a slice looked beautiful on the pink. What about cupcakes?
