The Unmentionable, Big Milestone Birthday Party

We had a lot of fun here over the holidays. We shopped, we wrapped, cooked, and well, we partied.

It was someone's big milestone of a birthday, right around the holidays.

You know the one.

The one no one wants to mention.

And it wasn't my birthday, just for the record.

Whoever's birthday it was here, and we don't want to mention any names, did NOT want to have a party for it.

So I did the next best thing, I had a Christmas/Birthday party! It seemed to work, the person who I am not mentioning, was finally okay with it.

The name has been wiped out to protect "the innocent! "

A good friend arrived early, knew how busy I was, and went around and took pictures for me!

Was that sweet or what? Here we are pictured together.

A great time was had by all! Family, friends, kids ... lots of kids! My biggest party to date! (And we finished the basement remodel in time, too! More on that later.)

Ho-Ho-Hopefully we won't have to worry about one of these milestone birthdays for awhile!  Tee hee.

But I would love to wish you all a very, very, happy and blessed New Year!

Linking with Pink Saturday.

The unmentionable one sure had a nice party. Great job and everything looks so nice. That is what friends are for to help others.

Happy Birthday to the one we're not mentioning! psst - I didn't want a party either & didn't. And while my birthday was celebrated - there was almost no mention of the 'number'... just lots of lovely birthday wishes. You'll understand when you get there! :)

Happy New Year! I am sure the party was appreciated by the unmentioned. Your home looks for pretty for the festivities. Great photo of you and your kind friend as well.
Although my Mom had Alzheimer's when she said this I think I am going to start using it too when asked how old I am. "I don't have a number" ; )
Take care.

Happy Birthday to the unmentionable one! Lovely pics! I turn 50 in 3 1/2 years and honestly, I'm not the least bit bothered by it for some reason. I'm enjoying this stage in my life:)

Happy New Year sweet Jillian!!!
