Just Listed! Antique Porcelain German China, Antique Poetry Book, Art Deco Rhinestone Brooch, Folk Art Handcarved Girl Figure, Forget Me Not Teacup

Some interesting finds this week...

Antique poetry by Lowell
I just fell in love with the cake plate... you must know I do not like to ship large things.
But this one is ten and a half inches in diameter so it must have been gorgeous or I would have never put it in my shop. I thought it was worth the effort. Lovely!

Two NYC stereoviews...the Washington Arch and the Flat Iron building..

neat pieces to add to your decor here and there.

I'm intrigued by this little handcarved piece.

Kind of folksy... kind of cottagey.

Sweet carving of a little girl holding what looks like a knitted stocking...

with a ball of yarn at her feet. Sweet!

And speaking of sweet...this is a little Forget Me Not teacup...

in miniature or for a child's set.

Also receive this 1911 New Year postcard. Is one hundred years old this year!

A French Grammar book for those who love all things romantic!

Great pictures of France/Paris

Beautiful, handpainted condensed milk jar.

Late 1800's child's story book. So sweet!

There is one fantastic color litho picture in the beginning of the book

which would look fantastic framed....makes the purchase worth it for the illustrations!

The rest are black and white but wonderful too.

These are unique and colorful...with a little bit of lustre to them.

Receive two berry bowls in this purchase.

Another unique piece. A rose pin cushion... a little shabby, a little

cottage chic!

All just listed here in my Bella Rosa Antiques shop.

Thanks for stopping by to check out this week's finds.

Finding Pink: Vintage Buttons, Scarab Bracelet, Brass Key & Tassel, Rose Plates

It is not too hard to find pink when I'm out hunting down vintage goodies.

Look, there it is... in the little Victorian girl's dress. Love these antique autograph books.

And here's some pink in this vintage bracelet. The stones are all made of glass.

And this one I spotted at an antique show on Memorial Day. The very next day the same dealer had it at a different antique flea. I told her I had seen it the day before. Well of course I couldn't walk away from it two times! So home it went!

This is the second batch of buttons. The other's have sold. This time I paired these with a pretty little rose nut bowl, made in Bavaria.

This little gal's hat certainly fits the pink theme. I keep thinking she is Little Bo Peep but of course, her sheep staff is not at hand.

I paired this pretty pink and ivory tassel with an old brass key. Perfect together!

These are some of my favorites of my recent finds. Just the right blending of pink and green.

And one, just one stone is pink... a really nice scarab bracelet for those who like to wear them. Nice sized and good quality stones.

For more pinks, check out Pink Saturday where there's a PLETHORA of bloggers who LOVE my favorite color as much as I do. Some weeks there are more than 150!

Have a great weekend.

Just Listed! Victorian Autograph Book, Scarab Bracelet, Dog Training Book, Country Fair Ribbons, Pastel Vintage Buttons, Ohio Art Sandpail & More!

Fresh off the press.... my latest listings!

Vintage 1930's pin keeper... advertisement on the back.

Such a sweet print of a Mother and child.

An Ohio Art Sandpail... these are great reminders of beach fun!

If I had a beach house, I'd have a whole shelf full of these.
Did I mention I've always wanted to have a beach house?

I'll keep dreaming for now...

A set of three red, white, and blue country fair ribbons from Pennsylvania.
Perfectly patriotic for the summer holidays...

One if from the infamous (around here) PA Farm Show!

Now this guy is indeed a crib toy but he looks like so much fun for the summer holidays...
He could be a Yankee Doodle Dandy!

A really nice Scarab bracelet with the 1" sized stones.

Besides the Ohio Art pail, this is one of my favorite finds...

An antique, Victorian era autograph book. We just do not write

or talk like these folks did way back when. A lost art really!

Quite a piece of history here.

Some die cuts pasted in throughout.

Sweet!

More country fair ribbons...with the rosette tops.

All from Pennsylvania. Some are "Grand Champion" and some are

Senior and Junior champions. There are five total...we will

pick one out for you. Sold separately.

Beautiful, old, pink rose transfer plate.

These just melt my little shabby chic heart.

If these do not sell you can be sure I am going to find a place for them in

our family room. The walls are the same muted green. Lovely!

Now I do not know this little girl's name but I thought the violets went so well with her photo, that I've named her "Violet!"

A brass skeleton key with a pretty tassel.

With pink, of course!

Did someone say pink? I sold a batch of these buttons last week and I am all out of them now if these sell. The pretty rose nut dish comes along with them!

I love how this pin is shaped into a bouquet

and the stones are pretty little "emeralds"

Another Victorian era autograph book. If I get time this week I am going to do a separate post on these...the messages inside are so interesting!

And a sweet little gal... I almost thought she was Little Bo Peep but she does not have her shepherds staff...

All just listed in my Bella Rosa Antiques shop.

Aqua Celluloid Glove Box for Second Chance Tuesday

Today I'm taking a moment to go through some of my inventory I think deserves a second chance to be highlighted on the blog.

This aqua colored box with the writing "GLOVES" on the lid is so pretty and is my selection for this week.

While gloves may be out of fashion right now, it is never out of fashion to use vintage items for storage or for display.

This beauty still has lots of life left... and for Second Chance Tuesday, I am taking 20 percent off...click here to go there now.

My latest finds are ready for their "photo shoot." Hopefully I can carve out some time in between Mommy duty and someone's nap time. Look for new listings in the next day or so!

Just An Inkling of Pink Things

After a busy week of fleamarketing and listing my latest finds... there are only a few pink things left in my Bella Rosa Shop...

A French themed set of playing cards...

This set of buttons sold but I do have another still on hand...

This was my favorite find of the week and it is still here!

....handpainted Nippon. Beautiful.

And lots of fun for crafty types... pink satin ribbon on a spool.

Just look at it all! Nice and wide too. About 1 1/2".

Enjoy the rest of the weekend... we are having GORGEOUS weather

I hope it sticks around!

*****Oh no! A COMMENT PROBLEM*****

I've been trying to leave comments on various blogs and I can't. Some blogs it works fine, and others, it doesn't. If I haven't stopped by to see you or responded to your comment and I normally do, this is why. I hope to figure out the problem soon. Other bloggers have been having similar issues...if anyone knows how to help me, I'd really appreciate it!
