Pink Saturday ~ Touches of Pink

This week for Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly , I'm celebrating the touches of pink here and there:
Vintage pastel baby dresses on pink satin hangers... I took the picture in Dear Bebe's nursery.

(Thank you, these have SOLD!)
Chic n shabby ornaments... my FAVORITE kind of ornaments. When you turn the lights down in the room and turn the teeny white lights on the tree...these old ornaments look like a sugar plum fairy land all over your Christmas tree. Reminds me of the Nutcracker.

(Thank you, these have SOLD)
Sweet touches of pink on the rims and in the center of these old Limoges plates. How would a pink frosted cake look on these plates? Forget that...how would it taste?

De-li-cious!

Some pink in the posy... (is it posy or posey? )

The pink chair in the Mad Hatter Tea Party book . This Little Golden book is a first edition from 1951 and it has great pictures.

And speaking of mad hats... check out these vintage party hats! Love the pink ones, of course.

The pink dress in the fashion print of Paris.

The bright pink of vintage shiny brite ornaments...

(Thank you, these have SOLD)

And pink rhinestones in these lovely scatter pins.
Happy Pink Saturday to you... all these touches of pink and more are my latest finds in the Bella Rosa antique store....

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope your weekend is filled with touches of PINK!

It's such a happy color and warms the heart.

And as always,

Posh Tots: Vintage Baby Dresses, Nursery Ceramic Planters, Baby Spoons

This week's Make Mine Pink Friday Event theme is Posh Tots. I love this theme because I've been into vintage baby items ever since Dear Bebe was in the womb! So, I've acquired a nice collection over time.
This assortment of vintage baby dresses and slips looks adorable as decoration in a nursery, child's room, or shabby country setting. I've listed the mint green dress and the white eyelet style slip dress so far.
I'll also be adding items from my "For Baby" category into this week's MMP Friday event page. Posh Tots ... lots of fun vintage style!

I will be stealing some time in between baby naps and website updating... to sneak a peek at the lovely articles and photos.

I'll be back! (I started listing "new" items... I'll be finishing up tonight and tomorrow.)

Eye Popping Pink

Welcome Pink Saturday readers! I hope you like my array of "eye popping pink" for you. I of course, bought these items for the site because my eye just goes right to this color.

I just started finding these Christmas corsages. Better in pink, yes?

Thank you, these have SOLD!
The glitter houses are back! Just in time to start buying for Christmas.
And of course, there's a PINK one!

The sweetest soft pastel tones (pink rosy cheeks) in these victorian child prints. The one on the right has a signature in pencil with a date pf 1876.

This is my favorite piece this week. So hard to find these aurora borealis style crystal necklaces (and three strands, too!) but I did... it is lovely.

And I think I am the luckiest girl! Dear Hubs bought this book for me because it was pink! But it is not just any pink book, it is a vintage 1958 copy of Beverly Cleary's The Luckiest Girl. Neat! Think I'm going to go start reading it...

For more pink fun...check out Beverly's blog at How Sweet the Sound. Stop by and visit a blog you've never seen before... I'm off to go visit Beverly's long list of pinky fans!

Simply Pink

Two words. Simply pink.

That's the theme for this week's Make Mine Pink ~ Friday Event! I couldn't be happier. I love things in pink and of course I was thrilled to find my favorite antique items in the best shade: SIMPLY PINK!

These aurora borealis crystal necklaces are very hard to find.
This lovely three strand beauty is fabulous!

It wouldn't be a day of pink without me sharing my Pink Lustreware with you. Gosh these are so unique and pretty. The photo doesn't show the pink shine as well as you see it in person.

There's a gal in Make Mine Pink named Sharon (C'est Chouette) who makes beautiful pillows with these vintage needlepoint pieces. This one would make a nice handbag, too. Hmmmm.

And here's one for ya...a pink book! Except it is not just any pink book.... but a vintage copy of one of Beverly Cleary's books, The Luckiest Girl. I think I'm the luckiest girl because I get to work with vintage pink stuff and share my wares with my readers. Simply heaven!

This is just a sampling...for more of my SIMPLY PINK items, check out my Make Mine Pink Friday shopping event page. You'll find pink holiday items, lace, victorian shelf, and more!

And as always,

After a crazy busy weekend, I'm finally catching up. We had our Dear Bebe's first birthday party. Look who stopped by! Whoaaaaaa!
Then Sunday I spent some time back in an antique mall while I worked on my booth. Found some more goodies to add to the bunch I didn't get to list from a couple of weeks ago. Without further ado:

Three lovely little gold frames. So ornate!

A couple of old handmirrors. This one is marked DUPONT Paralin
