Getting Together: A Ladies Brunch

When was the last time you went to a brunch?

It had been so long that I thought the time was right. Spring is in the air, so why not?

They're fun.
A change from the normal routine.
They're pretty yummy, too!

And a great excuse to gather some old friends. (And to use my Grandmother's china!)

I invited a group of gals over that seem to have stayed connected long after our seemingly simple connection ended.

We were all dealers at an antique mall... and we have the love for vintage in common.

I asked myself what is a typical brunch menu. Normally I go right to Pinterest and see what everyone else has... but this time I went the easy route.

I made a tomato and cheese quiche and my dear hubs made Belgian style waffles with blueberry topping.

Plus, many other treats to nibble on.

It was a fun morning... and we chatted 'til mid-afternoon!

Amazing how our time together selling antiques has crossed over into get-togethers now.

Bon appetit!

OMG...that looks and sounds wonderful!! I'm sure you and your friends had the best time!! I need to do the very same thing for a group of my buds. I used to be better at entertaining than I have been recently. It's easy to not do....but so very rewarding when you do!!

Have a great PSaturday!

How absolutely lovely. In our fast paced, techy world we do far too little of this. I've had teas where the ladies dat and chatted for hours and said how refreshing it was to just SIT and VISIT. Your table and food look so inviting. A lovely gift to your friends.

Sounds wonderful! Quiche is always perfect for a brunch. I was supposed to have a tea/brunch and adult coloring party for my girlfriends but had to postpone it when I started ripping the dining room wallpaper down! We will have it in my newly made-over dining room and I will make Quiche!

What a nice idea, everything looks delicious! I can imagine the ladies did not want in the photo, right? Cute!
I enjoyed the glimpse of your dining room, the wall color is pretty!
I'll be linking up on Tuesday, see you then!
