PINK Saturday: Vintage Christmas Ornaments, Mercury Glass Tree Topper, Glitter Mica Putz Houses

Last week during Pink Saturday (I know, where are my priorities?) I went antiquing in search of "new" and fabulous things for Bella Rosa Antiques. Here is a sneak peek at what I brought home. If you love vintage Christmas items...you will be very happy!

I couldn't believe I found 3 more of these glitter mica putz type houses. All from the same dealer. That's where they keep coming from...but what I can't figure out is why each week there are only a few at a time put out in her booth.

Well, I'm happy I'm finding them so why look a gift horse in the mouth?

I love how this one looks like it has chapel style windows... neat!

And I absolutely LOVE these old ornaments with the glass bead "tassel" look. So delicate yet so festive.

And speaking of delicate... this glass tree topper is amazing. To make it all these years and still be in one piece. A survivor of time!

Another unique piece...this little bell ornament with the lovely connected silver glass beads.

(Thank you, this has SOLD)
She is just a charmer too. Her head is like a china or ceramic material. Unique!

(Thank you, this has SOLD)
I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted this little set of angels. Aqua with pink roses! Perfect!

What is an antique website called BELLA ROSA without a red lustre roses plate? I had to get it!

(Thank you, this has SOLD)
But one of my favorite pieces of china is this sweeeeeeeeet butter dish, insert, AND cover. A very very early piece of Homer Laughlin china. Homer Laughlin is the same company that made FIESTA ware so this gives you an idea how old this beauty is. And to find all three pieces in fabulous condition is amazing.

As always,

I love all these great items! They are all my Christmas colors, pink, green, blue. Such eye candy! I came across an angel almost identical to that one with the ceramic head, sadly I don't know where she got to. Now I'll have to obsess over where she is till I find her. Thanks so much for the look at your brilliant finds! Happy Monday!

Jillian, those are gorgeous finds. I bought some putz houses on ebay a while ago. I could never find them while thrifting and I love them. It looks like you had a very fruitful Day.

Hi Jillian,
How sweet is that little butter dish; love it! I like all your vintage finds and you know, I have a little Christmas village with red roofs that look much like that little red-roofed house. Very cute! Happy Pink Saturday and have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,
Sandi

You had a great shopping expedition. You filled the shelves at Bella Rosa though I suspect that all these treasures will be gone soon. Have a wonderful Pink Saturday.

Jillian, those are some WONDERFUL pieces you found! That little agnel with the ceramic type head reminds me of one we had when I was little, though ours was a little larger. But lots of those vintage ornaments harken back to my childhood. It is amazing that you found that topper in one piece! Neat!

I realize they aren't vintage, but I think that Vermont Country Store has some pieces that are made to look vintage. That's a good backup.

Enjoyed seeting your goodies!

Happy Pink Saturday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Happy Pink Saturday, Jillian.

You found so many wonderful things. And, I love the Homer Laughlin piece. I have the Jean pattern by Homer Laughlin. My mother got it when she got married.
