Pink Saturday - RePurposed or Upcycled?

Recently I came across what seemed like a new term to me: Upcycle.
Call me crazy but I had visions of an upside down unicycle!

What I gather is that it means to make something new out of another product or item. Like maybe making a park bench out of old tires.

So when I find great things and make them new again by using a can of
PINK spray paint...

Would that be upcycling?

Or recycling?
I guess I can just say I'm "repurposing."
Hope you enjoyed my pretty pinks. For more lovely shades of the same color... hop on over to Beverly's blog How Sweet the Sound!

Good morning, Jillian!! I love to repurpose "finds" and I can tell you do, too. I think we were doing it before it became "in", don't you? :) I always liked to use unique items for something else, cuz I knew no one else had the very same thing--but mainly, cuz it was affordable.
