My green depression glass also made it out of the cabinet. The green block optic goblets were my paternal Grandmother's. They were made sometime between 1929 and 1931 so I wonder how many luncheons these glasses have seen.
The soft pretty pastel colors in the dinnerware and the tablecloth always inspire me to serve extra sweets...so out came a cake and the teeny little pastel sprinkles. Oh and the chocolates!
Yum! The time spent with the gals was just as fun. I hardly ever do this, you know, break out the serving pieces and make things extra special. Life gets so busy, we forget to slow down and just enjoy the time we have. I'm glad we did!
Take a moment and click on Pink Saturday ... there are a lot more celebrations of life especially if they are with pinks and pastels!
Just a note for my website followers... last night my latest arrivals were uploaded. Check them out here.

What a gorgeous table setting, Jillian!!! I love the pastels of your Lu Ray dishes.....and I'm crazy over your green glasses! I have a few pieces of that green depression glass, too, but not in that patten. It would be fun to know about the other times they've been used over the years. How special that they belong to a family member!
Our snow is finally melted....but it's still pretty chilly. It's in the 40s, but I should be pleased it's not in the teens!! I just want WARM!!
Have a great Pink Saturday!

First I LOVE the story of how you aquired your blogs name. I have a pooch that is named Bella. My daughter named her after seeing a "Bella Luna" in the sky. That was 8 years ago.
I've never heard of LuRay dishes. I'm lovin' the pastel colours of all of them. Very nice for a beautiful lunch with the girls.
Happy PS Jillian.
Love Claudie from Canada

How scrumptious! The dishes are as yummy as the cake! Wish I could have been one of those friends to enjoy that! Lovely!
