Here is my only pink find for the week... a pink cameo brooch available in my shop. It is a bit stuffy, no? Is the woman in the cameo wearing a big hat like the kind worn in London today? Wow... they were amazing!
But after seeing Kate's gown I admit, I was a little disappointed. It did indeed look similar to Princess Grace's, which is of course lovely. I guess I was well, hoping for more.
So for Pink Saturday I am showing some pink wedding gowns!!!! Fluffy & big!
( this photo and the one above are from bridalcookie.com)
My favorite is this one above...
But ruffles are always fun...
And the lace over the white skirt is enchanting!
But before you go, don't forget to take along your pink beaded clutch bag ...also available in my shop in the wedding category.

I wonder how many wedding themes
there will be???? Hmmm....

Lovely pink brooch. I did watch part of the wedding - loved her dress - seeing their happiness started the day right!
Happy Pink Saturday,
Kathy
Happy Pink Saturday!
Stunning!

Love the brooch and the purse! I wasn't quite expecting the dress either but after getting a good look, I actually like it except for the neckline. I like understated elegance. You are too funny walking around with an accent! lol
Have a great weekend!

You are showing us some gorgeous gowns this week. I think each one is eye candy and couldn't pick a favorite. I didn't watch the wedding, been baby sitting my grand daughters because we have a new baby brother in the family.
Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
A gorgeous pink brooch. I love the style and the soft pink color.
Love the gowns your chose to share as well. A beautiful, fun, pink post. Have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
Jillian, the brooch is awesome. I remember whe we got married & I had a pink cake with pink bells on top, ohhhh, what a lot of chatter over that PINK color. I'd have worn a pink gorn if they had existed back then, for sure.
Beautiful share.
Happy beautiful PS weekend ~

Beautiful, beautiful pinks...It would be hard to choose just one of those dresses!
Happy Pink Saturday!
Jil
Wow...what cool and fun pinks!!
Only to now have the bods that go with such beauties!!
Enjoy your weekend.
Claudia
All the pink gowns you shared are very pretty. However, it is not the gown that makes a marriage in my opinion.
Love the pink ruffle dress. Wish I was daring enough to wear something like that. Oh well, it's fun to look at. Happy PS!

Jillian,
I've seen some of the wedding (no, I didn't get up at 4am to see it!)and I liked her gown. The rules say her arms and shoulders have to be covered so I think she did quite well using lace over the strapless look! Good Pink Saturday!

I loved Kate's wedding dress but the pink dresses you chose are pretty too. I love the ruffled dress in the second picture. Happy Pink Saturday!
Love the gowns...Pink of course.

I wanted more on the dress too! Thanks for giving me some luxurious dresses to browse. :)
I found you on Pink Saturday. Nice to meet you.

I love your cameo! I think it is divine! Thank you for sharing today! The pinks are prefectly beautiful! Anne
I love the pink wedding dresses! My fave is the same as yours... Happy Pink Saturday!
The wedding brooch is nice - Kate's dress was fabulous!
I love brooches...and yours is wonderful!!! I have one that belonged to an old friend of my mom's.
I just watched snippets of the wedding. They were a gorgeous young couple and seemed to be oozing happiness. Her dress DID look like P. Grace's...hadn't made that connection. I wasn't crazy about the veil...it looked heavy and flat to me, but she certainly pulled it off.
Keep practicing your British accent and you may have a career ahead of you in TV!! :)
Thanks for your positive remarks about my made in the USA post. Great old vintage items made elsewhere do not count....they are still highly loved! :)
Happy PS. L, Dana
Happy PS! Yes, I got up early to watch and was transfixed on the TV for every little detail. I know a lot of the critics were saying why is everyone going gaga but personally, I think it was a wonderful thing. At first, I was a little disappointed with her gown. I was expecting so much more. But after watching her walk down the isle, and in the carriage ride, I think it was perfect. Now, I can't imagine her in a big poufy dress. Happy PS, Nan
I forgot to say,
The Queen look beautiful in her Yellow ensemble.
Kates Sister Pippa looked drop dead gorgeous!
Prince Harry cracked me up!
David Beckham looked HOT!
Andrew's girls looked like a train wreck! Oh my gosh, those were the worst ensembles there!
I missed the wedding for unexpected reasons, but I got to see lots of photos later in the day. I loved all the fabulous hats!!
I thought Kate's gown was lovely, as was her sisters!
Your brooch is exquisite! I don't think its stuffy - it would be elegant at the color of a white shirt...or maybe a black shirt!
Happy PInk Saturday!
Good Morning,
I think the brooch was a perfect pink find. My mother used to love to wear those on her dress when I was young. How beautiful........ and the dresses are all so beautiful.
Have wonderful day and blessed week!!
Warm Regards, CindyLew
I love the pink clutch, what an amazing find. Hope you are having a wonderful spring.
Happy Pink Saturday!
All of these dresses are just stunningly beautiful! I did indulge in the Royal Wedding a bit and I loved how lovely, understated, and regal Kate looked, the way Harry just had to turn around, look and give that little smile of his, all the tributes to Diana - so many things to enjoy. Happy Pink Saturday to you and thank you for sharing the lovely gowns with us...
So pretty dresses!
Happy Pink Saturday!
hugs
Charo
Love the pink cameo... and I love the pink gowns. I'm your newest followr.
Oh my such beautiful dresses, I am not sure I can pick a favorite. I like them all. Beautiful broach and purse, too.
Happy PS
Gail
Oh, what a pretty pink cameo! I think if I did it over again I would wear a pink gown! :) Thank you for sharing and Happy Pink Saturday.
Hugs,
Olivia
Love the clutch!
I watched the wedding. I couldn't put my finger on what was *wrong (IMO) and then I realized it was the tiara/veil. I think if the tiara had more height or the veil had more poof around her head, it wouldn't have all seemed so plain. I did love her dress but my eye was drawn to her head. Then again, I'm just a lowly commoner so what do I know ;)
Happy PS
Roselle
Love your PS post and pics... those gowns are gorgeous! And yes, I agree with you on Kate's gown... very simple; almost too simple. Maybe I just expected too much, after Prince Di's gown and veil! It was still a very lovely wedding and they seem to be truly in love. :)
Wow! Those pink wedding gowns are amazing. Thanks for a big ol dose of pretty.
Hugs,
Judy
I just love those beautiful wedding gowns... and I always love the ruffles! Have a wonderful week!
hugs~~~ Daphne
Those pink gowns are fabulous, love the clutch too!
I do think the lady on the cameo is wearing an awesome hat. :)
Happy Pink Saturday!
Gorgeous cameo! I did get up to watch the wedding from 1:00-4:30 am. It was so great seeing a couple truly in love! ;) I have to say that I really did love her dress...I thought it was neat that it reminded us all of Princess Grace.
HaPpY pInK sAtUrDaY!
Sarah
Oh, I loved her dress. I thought it was elegant. But those ridiculous hats everyone was wearing? Not me! LOL
