There was a worn out path in the floor on the way to his booth. So many dealers would come in, just to go all the way upstairs and to the back to see his latest finds.This particular day I happened upon this pink vintage sweetie. And I fell in love.
It is my favorite vintage pink decoration. I won't ever sell it. It hangs in my office on my Somerset Life calendar where I admire it daily!
While that dealer is no longer sharing his great finds in our antique mall, I still keep my eyes wide open for something else to go with this. One of these days I'll find another. I've come close but nothing as beautiful as this soft pink.

I have the same ornament in green that I found at an estate sale this summer! A few of the bulbs on the bottom were broken but I was able to replace them with bulbs from my stash and now it's as good as new! Or as good as OLD, however you want to look at it. :)
I was looking at it and I think I'm going to attempt to make one of my own. The construction is simple and I think I have all of the supplies. Wish I had some beautiful PINK glass beads to make one like yours! Alas, mine will have to be blue.

Oh Jillian, it is breathtaking! The beautiful muted pastel colors are perfect. I do so love finds like that. I have a few things that I treasure, and the two things I always remember are just where I found them and the great deal I got. How great that the dealer had such good stuff and cheap prices. Makes me wonder what treasures others were able to find.
