New Listings: Dupont Hand Mirror, Vintage Prints, Sweater Clip, Vintage Jewelry, Marionette Halloween Witch & More!

After a crazy busy weekend, I'm finally catching up. We had our Dear Bebe's first birthday party. Look who stopped by! Whoaaaaaa!
Then Sunday I spent some time back in an antique mall while I worked on my booth. Found some more goodies to add to the bunch I didn't get to list from a couple of weeks ago. Without further ado:

Omigosh. These prints are awesome! One is signed on the paper matting with a name and 1876. Now that is OLD!

Shabby celluloid picture frames. Unique red "white" and blue! Must be for a soldier's photo!

Animal charm bracelet. Love the filigree chain links.

Thank you, this has SOLD!
This is so cool! A vintage "What's the Answer" game.

A few Christmas corsages. I like this one the most because it is PINK!

Paper dollies! Oooooh! Enough said.

Friendship motto wall decor. These are so sweet.

Thank you, this has SOLD!

I just love old books. Who doesn't need the romance of an old fashioned
gentleman these days?

Two foreign language text books. One in German and the other in French.
(Close up is of the French book.)

Thank you, this has SOLD!
Several more glitter houses!
I think I have enough now on the site to make your own village.

Three lovely little gold frames. So ornate!

A couple of old handmirrors. This one is marked DUPONT Paralin

Pretty Haviland Limoges plate.

This sugar and creamer set depicts the portrait of Marie Leczinska....Queen Consort of France. She married King Louis XV of France and was the grandmother of Louis XVI, Louis XVIII, and Charles X.
Amazing! Made in Austria.

Just in time for Halloween...a vintage Hazelle's marionette witch for your fun decor!

1950's jewelry set.

Thank you, these have SOLD!

Two shabby green flower frogs. The neat card is from the vintage game I'm listing this week called "What's the Answer?" Both may be found in the "For Crafters" category.

Souvenir catalogue.
Amazing graphics and advertising in this antique
art exhibition catalog from Pennsylvania.

Lovely sugar spoon. Mongrammed "S"....why for SUGAR of course!

Pretty 1950's sweater clip. I'll be listing a vintage sweater for it soon.

Love this for my crafters! Vintage Game of Words.
Gee...do you like the words I made?
I've already started listing...hopefully I'll finish up tonight while the baby is sleeping!

Timeless Textiles a Make Mine Pink Friday Event

Whether hand crafted, hand created, or stitched by modern machines, timeless textiles mix our stories with those they already know, and will pass them down to generations to come.

Join me this week on Bella Rosa Antiques as we participate in Make Mine Pink's Friday Shopping Event. You'll find linens and textiles like these and more:

This sheer apron has the most interesting and unique pocket. First of all it's made of roses and the second interesting part is the pointed shape, like a heart. Was this a gift to someone originally? Who owned it and what did she use it for, if at all? If she was anything like my Grandmother she didn't want it to "get ruined" and saved it for someday.

Now this photo is just showing a corner of the tablecloth. The whole thing is like new yet it is vintage. Perfect for a tea party!

Thanky, the hanky has sold!

I just love how this hanky is cut in the shape of the flower and leaves. Unique and such a vibrant color, too. When it opens full, it is really gorgeous!

This little fingertip towel is sweet with the pink rose.

Vintage pink lace from Park Avenue in New York City. Wonder when it was originally purchased and for what purpose. Maybe for an evening dress! It is 6 inches wide and there's tons of it...great for crafters.

This is just a peek, hop on over to the shop and see what else is in store! Then check out the rest of the Make Mine Pink Friday Shopping Event selection of Timeless Textiles here.

And as always,

Antiques from the Beach? Pretty Pink Crystal Necklace, Occupied Japan Figurines, Unique Flower Frog, Blue Rhinestone Earrings

Believe it or not, while away at the beach for a few days with Dear Hubs and my sweet Dear Bebe, I found some great antiques! You can see about our trip on my Jillian's Pages blog.

Thank you, this has SOLD!

Look at this flower frog! Loved it ....different from the norm.

I was thrilled when I saw these two figurines. Marked "made in occupied Japan." I'm going to do a little research on them before I list.

Omigosh! I couldn't believe I found this pretty pin, handpainted in Germany. So lovely!

This picture did not turn out right...but the necklace is a winner! Vintage pink crystal 3-strand necklace. I'll be re-shooting this photo asap...

Pretty clip on earrings... love the color.

Ask anyone from my family and they'll tell you I am a purse NUT. This one is amazing! Vintage, made in Japan. I would normally have kept this one but I came across another that is newer so I'm putting that one into my collection. I'll have to take a photo of it to show you. Another box style...they're so cool!

Did I say I was a purse nut? I'm obviously also a jewelry fan too! These light blue chandelier pretties are so much lovlier in person but they're quite stunning here, too as well. Screwbacks. I couldn't believe I found these, either. I should shop for antiques near the beach more often!

There's more but this is just a sneak peek for now. The rest of the photos are on my other camera and it's time for Dear Bebe to be getting up....so time to put on my "Mommy Hat!"

Each week the boutiques of Make Mine Pink have a fun day of "Shopping with a twist." The theme this week is Office Chic.

I thought this would be fun so here are just some of my picks. You can see the rest by clicking here.

Thank you, this has SOLD!
Celluloid picture frame

Roses on a wheelbarrow flower frog

I just love mugs to keep all of my pens and pencils...

...or artists brushes in.

So pretty and chic!

For the more traditional home style...an oriental vintage style trunk.

To see more great office chic...continue on to Make Mine Pink's Friday Shopping Event!

Shabby White Christmas Tree, Pink Bavarian Rose Porcelain, Cabochard Perfume, Rhinestones, French Souvenir Pin Keep & More!

Thank you, these have SOLD!
These are my kind of Christmas postcards...they have pink in them!

Not so ordinary rose sugar bowl. Love the ornate styling.

Notre Dame coffee table book. Excellent photos.

Thank you, this has SOLD!

Antique autograph book from 1937.

I enjoy reading the messages from friends.

Think I'll do a blog post on that soon.

Thank you, this has SOLD!

Adorable planter or vase...love the pastel colors.

I've decided to call these "citrus" earrings. The color is so different!

If you're a cat person you'll appreciate kitty figurines.

They're harder to find...most of the time you see dogs.

Pretty pink petite roses on this porcelain creamer...marked Bavaria.

Thank you, this has SOLD!
Now this is interesting...and please tell me if I am wrong. It looks like a hanky holder but yet there isn't a pocket to be found on the inside. I think it would make an excellent pin keeper. It is satin, soft and puffy....open it up and there aren't any pockets. Could it be for lingerie? Stockings? Pins? Jewelry? Who cares? It's a souvenir of France!

This is so sweet. Love the velvet bow. I just read the history on this perfume.

Madame Gres was quite an interesting lady!

She wore a light grey velvet bow...which is how the bottle came to be.

I just don't think this one is that old, although this perfume was launched in 1959.

Gosh this one was hard to list. It is adorable!

Hope you enjoyed a peek a this weeks listings!

All available now on the website...under our JUST LISTED category.
