Here's hoping for a nice boring week

It has been crazy around here. One week we have an earthquake, the next a hurricane. Then a flood!

This is a photo of the front gates in Hershey Park last week.

Even the county I live in had some bad flooding. An old historic covered bridge was washed away. Built in 1885.

But now we are starting a new week... one we hope is well, very boring!

I'll be listing some more things found at our local antique fleamarket on Labor Day.

Stay tuned!

Wow nature has really been hard on your part of the world lately. Where I live in Canada we had flooding this year but all in all weather has been hotter than usual and quite pleasant.
I look forward to seeing your treasures later this week. Take care!

Yes, a very quiet, boring week! We have escaped most of the flooding.
Can't wait to see more of your neat things.

So sorry to hear about your earthquake and hurricane. Sending love your way. Your tea cup with the pink roses is lovely. I have been taking time out each day to have a cup of tea. Very relaxing, isn't it?

I'm with you - hoping for 'boring' too. We find out tomorrow if our furnace can be salvaged or not.

Heard about those floods - glad they're gone! Did you get my second email telling you that we DID get the room at Lovelace Manor? I'm so excited to see the place - and just get away! Cooler temps, too, for a cozy fall feel.

See you soon!
Joy!

P.S. How awful about the 1885 bridge. What memories washed away there . . .
