French Tapestry, Antique Mercury Glass, Romantic Rose Dresser Tray, Vintage Milk Bottle Carrier & Lots of PINK
Each week I try to come up with a phrase to describe my latest listings. "Decorating Your Romantic Home" is my choice for this week.
Soft, muted pastels in a framed tapestry. Beautiful!
Lovely old rose covered dresser tray.
Another oldie but goodie...in PINK!
Ironstone by Burford Brothers ...they operated from 1879 to 1904.

Change out the photo for a vintage baby nursery theme
or for your romantic home.
Because not everyone does pink.
(Don't let the Pink Saturday gals hear you)

but I have the carrier to prove it!
but the favorite is usually "Remember Me"
This stuff is so hard to find.
The poor man's silver... you would find this in the
home of the middle class because it was more affordable.
Petite print ... I do believe the caption is in German
Antique songbook... registered in Congress in 1808
Violets on egg cups: to brighten up your breakfast table!
Romantic... yes.
The perfect book to set out for the holidays!

A children's book of bible stories.
A pack of BINGO game cards. I like how these have a splash of red throughout.
I created this little "BINGO Kit" for vintage fun. SHEFFIELD FARMS milk bottle make it a cute display but you can always use the pieces in your craft projects.
A unique postcard in its original mailing box. Postcard by artist John Winsch but even more unique is the ribbon work throughout.
All availabe, while they last, on BellaRosaAntiques.com

Antiques A Plenty
This week I am excited about my latest finds. But then again, I'm always excited about what I've found!
And to think most of these were in the antique mall right where we have a booth.

I guess you could say it has NOSTALGIA written all over it!
A pretty framed tapestry. The colors are perfectly pastel.
An ironstone pitcher or creamer.... in PINK!
(My Pink Saturday post is going to be filled with it!)

Do I keep or sell? Hmmmm.
I've actually been looking for a piece for the living room.
We shall see!
And more not shown in the photo... this was just a teaser.

Pink Sprinkles For A Happy Birthday
My sweet baby had a birthday party today. I can't believe she is growing so fast.
Mommy is worn out but our little one had a great time.
This is all the pink I could muster this weekend! Enjoy the view!
And Happy PINK Saturday.

LOOK What I found! Antique Paris Book, Early China Plate in PINK, Vintage Ledger, Frances Brundage Book, Postcards and More!
They're up on the website... my latest finds from my excursion on Saturday.
Each week I usually find a favorite .... last week it was the German seashore puzzle. This week it is this unique "Lights of Paris" antique book. They just don't make them like this anymore!
I paired three postcards together with the lush deep red florals. Makes a difference when they compliment each other.

Milk glass, Victorian era... it is the matching partner to one we sold recently.
I still think it is fun!
fourth of July table settings!
Hard to capture in a photo.
Another nice old piece. The backstamp says "Bavaria"
I ended up in "LOVE" with this little Victorian gift book.

Antiquing with a Blog Friend!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of having company on one of my antique treasure hunts for Bella Rosa.
Miss Kathy of "The Writer's Reverie" blog joined me on an antique excursion through three floors of a local antique mall. What fun we had!
Miss Kathy found a few goodies too.
There is a whole story behind how we "met" online but had really met in real life before! Turns out, she is married to my Father's second cousin! We're like well, family!
Her hubby and I had a great time looking through all of the family photos... there's just something about old albums that can stir memories and legacies from past generations. We all enjoyed the trip down memory lane!
Later we also enjoyed the nostalgic trip through the many dealer's booths. Ooohing and ahhing at this and that.
Look for my latest treasures in new listings coming soon, to Bella Rosa in the next few days!

The Many Colors of Pink
Recently we went on a treasure hunt in a field full of antique dealers and collectors.
I've shown my finds the past few weeks but today I'm highlighting all the items with PINK!
I didn't realize how many different colors of pink I had selected. But then again, why wouldn't I? It is my favorite color!
At first glance this is not really pink, but light purple. Maybe even freesia.
But look at the florals and then see that the muted pink highlights this piece perfectly!

including a deep pink.
A touch of salmon pink.
But I don't suppose that is a color.
Or is it?
Or is it?
This moustache cup is brimming with rosey pinks.
Maybe her dress is a lovely carnation pink?
Just the most beautiful soft pink glow on this little gal's cheeks. Lovely!
Who needs red and green for Christmas? Not I. For the past few years I have removed all of my red ornaments in favor of pinks and pastels. It makes a yummy glow all over the tree.
This glass beaded garland features a hot pink that is sure to capture a happy mood.

Definitely a pink but maybe with just a touch of lavender.
One of my favorite pinks. Back in the days I was a young ballet student we referred to this as "Theatre pink" or "ballet pink." I guess really it was just a baby pink, afterall.
Available of course, in my online store, BellaRosaAntiques.com
Today I'm linking to Pink Saturday.
Join the other fans to see what color of pink is in their palette this weekend!
