Divine Inspiration ~ a Pink Saturday Miracle Makeover

When I began my first blog back in 2007, I was looking for a way to heal a pain in my heart. The pain caused by a miscarriage.

The blog was humming along nicely on the outside but the healing hadn't been going very well on the inside.

I bounced from hope back to a place of darkness often.

The only one who could save me was our beloved Creator. He had a plan for me and quietly held me while I (sometimes ranted) and cried. He also lifted me back to physical and (emotional) health and gave me the wisdom and courage to move forward again. I'm so glad I followed His cues.

My Dear Bebe was truly sent from above. I know this in my heart and I am forever grateful.

You have to know I was completely overjoyed to be able to use these little pink socks and still today, I am tickled pink.

I am telling this story with the hope of inspiring someone else who may happen to read this post who needs similar encouragement.

For another miracle makeover check out Kelee Katillac's page for a deeply inspiring story.... how a cancer survivor received her own miracle which all started by a blog post, comments, and prayers. (Published in the Guideposts magazine)

Happy Pink Saturday, Jillian. Thank you for making Pink Saturday special, and for taking part in this day of celebration and thanks.

There truly are miracles going on all around us every day. We just have to open our hearts in acceptance.

Your sweet Bebe is a glorious miracle. I know she fills your heart with joy.

What a special tribute. I would like to invite you to read the short story I wrote while God was bringing me through the healing from a miscarriage I experienced in Nov. 2007. It has blessed several people and I do believe God gave it to me to bring healing to myself first and then to others.

Hi Jillian! I have meen MIA a bit cuz I had my first fall sale yesterday....and while trying to get ready for it, I was sick and it all set me waaaaay back in every way.

Anyway, this was such a special post. I think we were both healed by the grace of our Father during our rough times. I imagine you figured out that I was referring to the loss of a child, too. Ours was 3 days old when he died....it was and still is just a difficult time to think about. However, I went on to have our next child just a few months later. . . and our second a few years later. I still don't understand why our first one had to be taken, but I have to believe there was a reason.

I loved your pink booties....and that county fair post was great!! One of the hi-lights of my childhood was our local Fall Festival....complete with "rides"! :) Thanks for the memories you stirred for me....and I know Bebe will be grateful for the ones you're giving to her!!

Have a great Sunday! L, Dana
