This week I am sharing more snapshots
of the antique show in the park
from last week. There are so
many more great things to highlight!
Read this sign....
It tells a lot about the way things
were back in the late 1800's.
Instead of typing: "Warning Bridge
Weight Capacity is ....." someone
came up with this verbiage.
Apparently it was James!
Ponderous!
I seriously wanted to buy these two
department store Christmas soldiers.
I'm having a Nutcracker
birthday party for Bebe soon. How
cool would these have
been at the front door?
Probably should have bought them
The asking price was 150.00 for both!
This dealer was really a creative sort.
You'll see the chair below that also
came from this booth.
Look at this repurposed chair...
with lots of creative flair!

These two pieces are interesting.
Nautical and Industrial.
So unique!
You can't help but want to reach out and pick up some
of these vintage letter press blocks. So fun!
If you look closely and read the tag you'll
find out these aren't early bowling pins.
How awesome would these be to decorate with?
Really cool!
Be careful... later on
you may start craving a root beer!
Ooooh. This display is all about
"cozy cottage charm!"
Yes, please, may I have this!
I love the galvanized wash tub
"turned beverage holder" idea.
My friend and I split the cost of this rope.
I've wanted to make an end table for our
lake house after seeing some on Pinterest.
We joked and said we're gonna get
together and "make stuff"
out of rope for a girl's day out.
This is Kathy....She's
very into vintage. Should be fun!

their shops with Christmas treasures!

wonderful selectioin of vintage
Shiny Brites.
Look at this cute vintage yellow barn!
it at a vintage toy auction.
Can you picture it, decorated
in a holiday vignette?

her chalk paint dresser makeover.
This should help motivate me,
I have a dresser and the chalk paint,
I just need to get out and paint it!

of her daughter's wedding decor

ReplyDeleteHi Jillian! Your Midlands Railway Notice sign is from England. We lived in the "Midlandsm" the middle region of the country, north of London for two years. The city we lived in was Derb" (pronounced "Darby"). You see it named in the lower left of your sign!! Small world, right? Thanks so much for hosting :)
