What Will 2014 Bring?

Each year we look ahead in early January and hope for the best.

The best in health.

The best in prosperity.

Family.

Relationships.

A better connection
with our Creator.

A hope for something greater than ourselves.

 Security.

We received a nice little gift
already this year...
A snow storm!

Our postal lady decided to venture up
our big hill. She soon regretted it.

Luckily, the hubby was able to
help her out. Salt and a little
muscle to the rescue!

Sometimes ,all we need to give,
is a bit of ourselves.

Sacrifice. Humanity.

Love for one another!

What do you hope to find in the coming year?

May 2014 be a year filled with
daily blessings and the vision to see
God's grace and beauty even in our trials.

  6. Hi, Jillian!! I am sorry I have been MIA in visiting your blog lately! My life is just crazy and I am doing good to put up one post a week now. Sure hope that all changes soon!!

I LOVED this post.....such great words and pictures!!!
We've had one "snow" and are getting ready for another....so far not real heavy predictions!

I loved your post about getting through the holidays with out your oven!! You are a real pioneer gal! ha ha!! What did we do before our slow cookers and toaster ovens? I have a big electric roasting pan that I use in the summer....on our patio so I don't have to heat up the house to fix a meal....I put my crock pot on the patio, too, when it's hot.

When we built this house, I had two ovens installed. I'd always wanted that and I'm so glad we did. Even though 90% of the year I'm using one at a time, it's awesome to have both of them going when needed....and I did over the the holidays this year.

Hope your 2014 is filled with awesomeness...and have fun with your ballet classes!! I took a few of those at our old gym (they were free) and I loved them, but quit when they started charging a fee above and beyond our gym membership. Ballet is just the best form of exercise....and it's so relaxing...well SOME of it is! ha ha
