What Antiques Would You Like to See?

The time has come! Time to start adding to my inventory!

I have to admit, this might be my favorite part. Shopping! What gal doesn't like to go out and spend a little money?

So, I'm asking for some of your input. What type of antiques would you be interested in on Bella Rosa Antiques? There are a couple of auctions coming up this week, and I am heading there with goals in mind.

Something vintage classy, like this?

Or cozy and cottagey like an artist made vase full of colorful flowers?

Or something fun and nostalgic like a vintage piggy bank or other figurine?

Or if you're like me, you like old books:

Or for the entertainer; classic vintage dinnerware and flatware:

Or for the VERY refined settings:

Or basic items chock full of vintage patina like old keys?

I'd love to hear from you all....tell me what you LOVE! I'll be sure to look for it. And thank you so much for all of your support on my new website. Coming soon!

  1. Jillian,
My opinion is= anything that brings to mind a visit to Grandma's or a favorite feminine Aunie's house; things that stir memories or imagined memories of a sweeter, slower, beautiful nostalgic time period. I trust you will pick just the right things that speak to you to be part of it all!!
I just noticed in your profile that you listed Circle of Friends as a favorite movie. I have that on video and watch it often!!

  4. Found you through Carol at sassafrass.... I love anything that you can't find anymore. The craftsmanship, nostalgia... I just love antiques. I love the fact that these treasures were once a part of someone's home, life and day-to-day comings and goings.

  6. I found you through Carol at Sassafrass. Love your Blog. We went to Italy this past Summer for the first time. You are right. It is so enchanting. We spent almost three weeks there and all this time later I still think of sweet moments that we had....too many to remember all at once.
    I will be back.

  7. Hi Jullian!
I'd like to see vintage tablecloths from the 1950s and the 1960s; vintage embroidery, small architectural elements (like small glass door knobs) milk glass and all kinds of glass cake plates on a pedistool, vintage Christmas ornanments..... these are a few of my favorite things! Wasn't Italy enchanting? I was there for a few weeks in the summer of 2001. Often times I feel my mind wondering back to those Tuscan hillsides and especially Sienna! I can almost feel the warm sunshine and smell the fresh air!
