Vintage Classics: Little Women, Black Beauty, Huck Finn! Plus, Vintage Craft Supplies and More!

We've had a busy week but I just finished
listing new finds under the wire last night.
Before the stroke of 12!
Not looking or feeling anything like Cinderella
but I managed to get my latest
listed by the end of the day!

A few classic books to add to your collection...
When I see them I can't help but
want to find them a new home.

And a classic we all know and love
 by Mark Twain:

Although we are heading
 into spring, vintage ornaments
are always a favorite!

A trio of pastel

Green depression glass

Porcelain rose pitcher
in a nice medium size.
Not too small, not too large.
Just right. And well,
just gorgeous!

And for my fellow
crafters... I do find
lots of neat goodies
to use in all kinds of projects:

 A large vintage grain sack
for pillow making

Children's flashcards
These are actually called
"Dominoes"....from an
old school game

World War II correspondence

by BAWO & DOTTER
Elite Works
Limoges France

I like to arrange them in threes
to hang on a wall or on a shelf

Victorian style antique postcards
Pink roses and soft pastels...
Always a classic!

And some vintage floss
or yarn...in all kinds of
soft colors!

There are a few more not shown ...
check them out here when you get a chance.

Today I hear spring time birdies
singing happily.

Makes my heart lift with its own song!

Going to spend some time with Bebe
today making this craft that I found
on a new blog, Oopsie Maizie.

Enjoy the day!

  2. Boy do those vintage WWII letters grab my attention - I can't imagine reading someone else's letters - but I bet they are something else. Makes me want to have them just to hoard them away and yet, share them somehow. Isn't that something?! And, love that pitcher - an eye catcher on the links for me.
    Happy Pink Saturday!
