Bunk Beds in An Attic Space & Blog Shop Markets

See this weed below?

It means summer is coming!

And that means more time at the lake.

Last year we had just started working
on the inside of our summer home.

It was a rough summer.
Not much boating.
Not much playing.

A lot of work.

But we think the results
were worth it!

And this summer we are going
to tackle the kid's room.

How are we going to fit
bunk beds in an attic space?

I've grabbed some ideas
from Pinterest.... we have a unique
space to fill!

I will have pictures to
show you ... when we
figure it out.

In Different Shades of Pink

Whew! It is Friday.
And that means another
Pink Saturday has arrived!

Other than spending time
with my Dear Bebe,
I have been working
in my shop...
 so I really
haven't had much
time to check out
Pinterest or visit
other bloggers.

All this to say the only
pinks I have today are from my
Bella Rosa store.

So without further ado:

Showing off different shades of pink
from my latest listings from the past two weeks.

are glowing in a vibrant hot pink

Some pinks are peeking out
through this compote of
vintage shabby glass

Lovely pink roses grace the tops of

 was the most interesting
of the week...
The makers mark is also
 unknown to me
Need to get out my books and do
some more research.
But the roses
trimming the edge
 caught my eye
as well as the green "lining."
Very unique!

A sweet old example of
ribbon work... on an
postcard... to their
majesties the Kind and Queen!

Nothing says cozy cottage like

This Christmas elf is so cute!

I have probably highlighted this
one before but I think it is worthy!

Beautiful Queen Anne

Just adored this vintage

And my favorite... a pink powder puff wand!

Getting Industrious

Having fun today uploading
some new inventory to my shop.

You could say I'm getting
INDUSTRIOUS.

This is a great old camera
outfit for decorating
a vintage movie themed room.

This is how it looks when folded
without the flash.

I like it either way!

I'm selling these vintage film
reels in two sets of five.
Another great way to decorate
a wall or to scatter throughout
a bookshelf.

Leaning tower of film reels perhaps?

These old film canisters are great
for storage too!

And they fit nice and neat into
this vintage metal carrying case.

But the most fun we had today
was with this child's classroom
face making set.
(Will probably list in my Etsy shop)

I'm almost finished with my
"new" arrivals...

All of the items found in this post
are in my Industrial category, here.

Coming up more vintage jewelry,
ephemera, antique china,
ornaments and vintage Bobbsey
Twins/Nancy Drew books.

Stay tuned!

Featured Today on Etsy: Vintage Wedding Theme & A Blog Shop!

Some days I feel so with it.

I have a Twitter account, I'm on Facebook, I have a smart phone.

Oh yes, I'm sooooo smart. Wink Wink!

I even have an Etsy mobile app on my phone.

So when a message came in that I had been featured in an Etsy Treasury... I was like "WOW" how cool is that?

Now, I know it is common to be featured in an Etsy Treasury, but today after being stuck in traffic and hearing about all kinds of sour news on the radio, it really lifted my spirits. It is the little things sometimes, don'tcha think?

Anyway, today's treasury theme was "Victorian Wedding Gala".... and here is my listing used:

I have a pair of stereoview cards of a Victorian Wedding....

Which can be found here in my Etsy shop.

And today just so happens to be BLOG SHOP day over at How Sweet the Sound so I am going to be OH SO CLEVER and link up my shop today.

The techonology.
The fun of blogs!

The fun of shopping in your PJ'S... even better.

On the Editing Room Floor

Each week as I am listing new items

There are a few that just don't make it into the shop.
Kind of like pieces of celluloid
cut from an old film.

Maybe I thought I wanted to keep it...

Or I just thought I had a lot of china
already in the shop...

Or maybe, just maybe, the item was too heavy to pick up!

Yes, this was the case this week.
Just not sure how I'm going to sell this printer's tray
and all of these awesome letters...

Or maybe I had too many goodies I thought paper ephemera could wait..

Even if it contained sweet pink ribbon work like this postcard...

Or maybe I  thought it was too boring?

Depression glass is not a hot seller right now...

Now to figure out what to do with them.

Maybe my Etsy store. Or the booth.
Or, to wait for another day.

When I pick them up off of "the edit room floor"

Carnival Party Planning: Five Months and Counting

Is it too early to start planning for a party in the fall?

Nah, I didn't think so either!

How much fun does this look like?
I know, a lot of work, huh?

SO maybe now you understand why I might just be getting a head start...

I probably won't get this fancy...

But I might be able to pull something like this off...
Or at least something similar!

Going to make our own games... bean bag toss anyone?

How easy is this to put together? I like the soda bottle idea!

I already found tickets...at the dollar store!

Will be posting updates throughout the summer... if you have any ideas
I'd be happy to hear about them!

Have a great weekend!
